Kaimai-Mamaku Catchments Forum – The Next Steps

Venue: ASB Arena Upstairs Suites 3 – 4

Date: Friday 6 October

Time: 10am-2.45pm, with morning tea during registration from 9.30am

We encourage you to come together for the opportunity to revitalise the Kaimai Mamaku Catchments Forum and decide on future actions.

Building on the great work that has already been done by the  Forum and incorporating recent feedback from Forum members, a draft Operational plan has been prepared as well as some ideas for becoming an effective, influential and sustainable Forum. It is now time to make some big decisions on the future of the Forum and how to achieve action on the ground.

We need everyone’s voice to be included in these important discussions.

Please RSVP by Friday 22 September to Janie.stevenson@landcare.org.nz or contact Janie for more details on 0275750574. A more detailed agenda will be emailed to you prior to the event.

Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi

Engari he toa takitini

Success is not the work of one, but the work of many.

The Kaimai Mamaku Range is a taonga, a treasured place, and a connector of two regions, multiple Iwi, hapu, industry, conservation and recreation groups. The Forum represents the collective voice for the Kaimai Mamaku Ranges and its catchments, bringing together people who care for and value the forests, farms and waters flowing in the Waihou River and Te Awanui/Tauranga Harbour.
